Cancellations

In the unfortunate circumstance of you changing your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 24 hours from the order confirmation date, or before it is put into production, whichever is earlier at zero cost.

Returning an Item

We offer return of product in the following circumstances:

  1. No Questions Asked Return: We offer a 15 day trial period for all solidwoodproducts (excl. textiles, accessories and other loose products) purchased on our website — full-price or on sale. If you’re not sold by 15 days, you can return your product, and even if you’ve used it you'll get a full refund on your purchase.
  2. Defective - If the item delivered to you is defective, it shall be processed under this criteria rather than (1) above. A defect is the unfortunate result of a flaw in manufacturing, which hinders the intended use of the product (e.g. imbalance, wooden joints opening, etc). Please note that natural characteristics of the material used, like appearance or texture (especially for solid wood products) are not defects. We would urge you to report any defects within 15 days of delivery for us to efficiently tackle the root cause of such defect and help you with alternatives.

Unfortunately, in the event of you noticing any concerns, regarding damage, incomplete products, or missing components after 15 days of delivery, we will not be able to accept such return or exchange.

Please understand that once the delivery/assembly is completed and the trial period has been exhausted, we may not be able to accept return requests.

To raise a request for return due to defects, you should click 2-3 clear photographs of the item in question such that the relevant concern is visible to enable us to understand the cause for concern.

With regards to return under our No Questions Asked policy, we would be highly appreciative if you could mention your reason for not being sold on our product. This would go a long way in helping us work towards serving you and others better in the future.

The delivery fee on checkout is only applicable for the very first attempt on a visit to your ship-to address. Any delivery fees for return shall be borne by the customer.

Refunds

All refunds process initiation shall be subject to pick up of all cancelled items from your/customer's premises.Post receiving the products back to the warehouse, a refund shall be initiated within 2-3 days.

You can choose to get your refund either in the original mode of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Digital Wallets or UPI Account) or to your Wallet.

If you have availed EMI option - incase of full refund the amount is credited to your original mode of payment. However, incase of partial refunds, the refund is initiated through NEFT transaction to your bank account so that the remaining EMI is not lapsed.

Exchanges

Exchange requests can be accepted within 60 days of delivery for solidwood furniture products and within 7 days for other products incl. textiles and accessories.

All products other than solidwood furniture (such as textiles, accessories etc.) sought to be returned should be unused, uninstalled, undamaged and in a saleable condition with original packing, price tags and labels.

The request will be at the sole discretion of Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd. and subject to availability of new item selected.The new item selected must be of same or higher value than the original purchase.An inspection may be conducted by us to ascertain the condition of item prior to approval of exchange request.
