Warranty
We back our furniture with a one-year warranty covering material defects, workmanship issues, and shipping damage. The warranty is automatically applied to all eligible purchases; no separate registration is required. There are no fees for warranty-covered repairs or replacements.

Shipping & Delivery Process
Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays.
- Custom or made-to-order furniture items may have a longer processing time, typically 3-5 days, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Shipping Timelines
- Standard Delivery: 4-14 business days within major cities, post despatch
- Remote & Special Locations: 15-21 business days depending on accessibility, post despatch.
Delivery Charges
- Delivery fees are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the order
- For select locations, free shipping may be available for orders exceeding a specified value.
- If the first delivery attempt fails due to unavailability, reattempts may be chargeable.
Third-Party Logistics Partners
- We partner with reputed third-party logistics providers to ensure safe and timely deliveries.
- Customers will receive tracking details once the order is shipped
- In case of delays beyond the committed timeline, our support team will provide updates and assistance.
Delivery & Assembly
- Our logistics partner will schedule a delivery date and time slot for bulkier furniture items.
- Certain furniture pieces require assembly; professional assembly services may be provided at an additional cost.
- Customers must ensure that delivery personnel have clear access to the premises to avoid any issues.
Inspection & Acceptance
- Customers are advised to inspect the package upon delivery for any visible damage.
- In case of damaged, incorrect, or missing items, customers should report the issue within 48 hours.
- Products with minor transit-related packaging damages will not be eligible for replacement unless the product itself is affected.
- Please note that the delivery partner will be clicking pictures of the entire delivered product for future reference in case any claims arise.
Delivery Restrictions
- We currently do not ship internationally
- Delivery to certain remote locations may be subject to feasibility and additional charges.
- We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses

Cancellation and Return
At Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd., we aim to provide a seamless and satisfying furniture shopping experience. Our return and warranty policies are designed to ensure a hassle-free process while maintaining sustainability and responsible product management.
Cancellations
In the unfortunate circumstance of you changing your mind after placing an order, you can cancel the order (or part of the order) within 24 hours from the order confirmation date, or before it is put into production, whichever is earlier at zero cost.
Returns
General Return Policy
We offer a 15-day return policy for all Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd. furniture under the following circumstances:
- No Questions Asked Return: We offer a 15-day trial period for all solid wood products (excl. textiles, accessories and upgrades as listed in the catalogue) purchased on our website — full-price or on sale. If you’re not sold in 15 days, you can return your product, and even if you’ve used it you'll get a full refund on your purchase. No catch! In case the products show minor defects, Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd., will within our discretion choose whether to replace the entire product or replace parts that make the product fully applicable for the intended use.
- Defective - If the item delivered to you is defective, it shall be processed under this criterion rather than (1) above. A defect is the unfortunate result of a flaw in manufacturing, which hinders the intended use of the product. Please note that natural characteristics of the material used, like appearance or texture (especially for solid wood products) are not defects. We would urge you to report any defects within 10 days of delivery for us to efficiently tackle the root cause of such defects and help you with alternatives. Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd., will within our discretion choose whether to replace the entire product or replace parts that make the product fully applicable for the intended use.
Unfortunately, in the event of you noticing any concerns, regarding damage, incomplete products, or missing components after 15 days of receipt of delivery, we will not be able to accept such return or exchange.
To support fast, affordable shipping and responsible recycling, a return shipping fee applies:
- 5% of the product price if returned with original packaging.
- 10% of the product price if original packaging is missing.
- Maximum return shipping fee: ₹5,000 per item.
Products that arrive damaged or defective are covered by our warranty and will not incur a return shipping fee.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 48 hours of the carrier receiving your return. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing by your financial institution.
How to Initiate a Return
- Please send in a mail to help@quarters.living, clear photos that are required before processing returns or replacements.
- Our Customer Support Team will contact you within 24-48 hours with further instructions. Within another 48-hours of providing all required details, we will assuredly provide an adequate resolution, and initiate all processes from our end.
- Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd. will provide a return shipping service with our partner or schedule a pickup, depending on the item and location
Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery. Delivery confirmation from the carrier determines the start date, not the unboxing date.
Return Eligibility
- Items must be inusable condition (no stains, tears, burns, pet damage, odours, etc.).
- Returns are subject to Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd.’s sole discretion based on product condition.
- Items shipped outside of India are not eligible for return.
- Missed return pickups will result in a fee, disclosed during scheduling.
- Individually purchased components/add-ons (not part of the original order) are not returnable.
- Returns due to color variation or firmness preferences are allowed but subject to return fees and subject to Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd.’s sole discretion due to the natural characteristics of the material used, like appearance or texture (especially for solid wood products). These are not defects.
- The return process must be completed within 7 business days of receiving return instructions.
Accessory Returns
- Pillows, throws, and decorative accessories must be returned within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be in new condition, with no signs of use or damage.
- Pillow covers must be in original packaging; inserts must be unopened.
- Throws must be returned folded, tied, and in original packaging.
- Outdoor furniture covers must be sale-able and in original packaging.
If return conditions are not met, Quartermeister Home Retail Pvt. Ltd. cannot accept the item, and no refund will be issued.
Exchanges
We offer one free exchange within 30 days for changes in fabric, leg finish, or similar attributes, provided the original packaging is intact.
How to exchange:
- Submit a return request, indicating an exchange.
- We will process the return without fees and issue a full refund.
- You can place a new order for the replacement item
Notes:
- Exchanges are only available for furniture, not accessories or lighting.
- Additional exchanges are subject to standard return fees.

Refund Policy
General Refund Guidelines
Refunds are processed based on your payment method and the reason for return or cancellation:
- Refunds will be initiated within 2-3 business days after refund approval post inspection.
- The amount will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days (depending on your bank's processing time).
- For EMI payments, refunds will be adjusted to ensure the remaining EMI continues as per bank policies.

Our extended warranty is non-transferable and does not cover resold items.
